"Where was Mordor when Angmar Fell! Where was Mordor when Glorfindel closed in around us? Where was-" - The Witch King upon returning to Mordor.

That awkward moment when Angmaer was technically more successful than Mordor.

The Witch-King running mid evil laugh when Glorfindel shows up is honestly hilarious .

I had forgotten that Shire-Hobbits have not only fought to defend their own land, but sent a company to aid the forces of the West in a foreign war. They actually earned the protection of the Dunedain.

I’ve been reading Tolkien over and over for 30 years and there are still too many names to keep track of!

Given the proximity of the Blue Mountains to Arnor, I like to imagine there were a few dwarvish mercenaries/volunteers who fought alongside the Arnorians and their allies. Since you already had Hobbits, Men, and Elves fighting the Witch King, you could also have some dwarves, thus having all the peoples of Middle Earth united once again against a great evil.

Of course, this is only a theory as it's never stated in the text, but it's fun to believe.

Even tho i love the second age
The war between angmar and arnor is my favorite time period
Its the time period we have zero adaptations zero full length books. And its one of the most impactful kingdoms
And i love how irs always kept in a mysterious kingdom forgotten to most

I don't know what it is about the human brain and fondness for miniatures, but I hope it never stops. Such wonderful minis.

Why is it that second-in-commands make some of the most interesting and formidable characters that often even outshine the main antagonists at times?

The stories of the Three Kingdoms of the North and Angmar are so exciting. I remain surprised that we haven't seen movies or TV shows about this era. The Witch King is no lesser a compelling evil foe than Sauron and Morgoth!

Who here remembers The Battle For Middle Earth 2’s Expansion: Rise of the Witch King that details this period of history with a bit of embellishment?

So shall the Kingdom of Angmar rise. The time of the Elves is over.

Saw the video title and thought the timing was perfect with my hype for the Rise of Angmar, and then you mentioned the MESBG collaboration. Very cool! Great video dude.

We were just playing the expansion mod to BFME2 - Rise of the witch king, "Age of the ring", talking about Angmar is such a cool timeline to the middle earth and this video came up. Lovely

The Witch King died not because of Glorfinder's prophecy but because his back was hurting for carrying Sauron all over Middle Earth by destroying Arnor and nearly destroying Gondor as well.

I would unquestionably binge watch a mini series about Angmar and the War in Eriador. Playing the Battle for Middle Earth Angmar expansion was great, but it just didn't feel like enough.

This is such a cool time period. I feel like some talented writers could do something really cool with the established canon here

I always loved videos and documents about Angmar! Such a fascinating and yet reasonably “unknown” faction in the history of Middle Earth.
