Just had a kitchen remodel and added this new smoke detector. It works great almost to great as I have it mounted a little bit too close to the oven and sometimes when I open it it seems to respond to the heat even if there's no smoke. T

I happen to have a 9 volt battery so I put the smoke detector to work right away. No problem inserting the battery and testing.

I had 1 smoke detector driving me crazy ( obviously changed battery, etc and still beeped), so I said, “I’ll just replace them all!”

What about the cover lid you couldn’t return it back in space and pushed it on the side. And this is the main problem with the product.

How do you get it out of fault mode? Changed the batteries which were trash that came with it. Now we are hearing beeping every 32 seconds and we can't get it to stop. This isn't a good detector. The battery lasted 6 months
