Here's a basic economics lesson: If you want to increase the wages of employees, you introduce more competition in the marketplace. That's the natural market incentive that encourages employers to pay their employees better. Employers don't want their skilled employees jumping ship to another company, and the number one incentive for doing that is to pay them well.

We should encourage Oscar and anyone else to enter into the MMA realm, and hope that they're all successful. In the context of MMA, competition == higher wages for fighters, lower costs for PPV (or even free mega matches), more fighters with higher skills, more advancements in sports nutrition / training, etc..

Dana's always focused on bringing up young fighters for the cheapest he can cause its were he makes the money .
The big names generate money but they dont neccasearly make big money for promoters.
