I totally agree with you guys about 9inch circulars! I love them too! No ladders! 🪜🧶😂😊

I can’t believe how many Musselburrough hats you guys have knit. I definitely need to knit one but i am currently on a sweater kick. Love watching you guys. 😊

Awesome projects ladies. Could you make a pillow front from the crochet pieces? Also Paige is amazing from Frame and Fiber. She has a shop in New Jersey on the beach. She also has chickens! If you keep the embroidery in the frame, don't trim the edges yet! There are videos where you sew down the edges and pull them tight, then back it with felt or fabric. But definitely google a video or two. 😊😊

I have a set of the Addi square clicks! I love them, but to your question, yes, the join is definitely worse on the interchangeables (I don't notice the join at all on the fixed ones actually). My experience so far is that the join with the interchangeables sometimes catches with thinner yarn (I've noticed it bugging me a bit on a fingering weight sweater on size 3s), I'm working on another sweater on size 8s and I haven't noticed the join at all on that one even with mohair being held with the DK yarn. I don't regret buying the set because it's so handy being able to easily switch cords and size needles. I do like the Addi cords and find it easier to switch out needles with the click system. But I will probably be buying any extra squareds in the fixed version. In general, that's how I always feel about interchangeables -they're handy to have if you need a specific length cord you don't have in fixed but otherwise I mostly prefer the fixed ones.

I love your newest Musselburgh Christen, I finally cast one on and can totally see the addiction! Musselburghs for everyone! Oh and My Girl was one of my sisters and my faves too, I wanted to be Anna Chlumsky, or atleast I wanted her hair, mine was so unruly at that age 🤣 it’s funny how a movie you haven’t watched in years can bring back so many memories!

Some time when you are over this way it would be fun to meet at McKinney Knittery or somewhere. Enjoy your trip. Hope the headaches go away.

You mentioned swinging by McKinney Knittery soon. Love that store. If you have time, you should also check out Yarn&You. It’s not too far of a drive from MK, and they just started carrying Desert Vista Dyeworks in-store. 🙂

You should go through the Summer Tee MAL thread from last year to pick a pattern. I want to do an Amess Tee in a linen blend yarn.

My son suffers from migraines and his are connected to his neck, so we got new pillows from Sutera (not sponsored) and he swears by his pillow now! Might give one a try if you have them often.

I agree with your comments about Where the Crawdads sing, I felt anxious and sad reading that. I actually told my sister she should probably not read it.

Yay! We just finished 1883 and I ugly cried at the end 😭 I’ve never watched Yellowstone, but now I want to start it! Tim McGraw in a beard is just 👩‍🍳 😚 I just finished a book called “Five”, got ot thru Libby, it’s historical non-fiction about Jack the Rippers victims. I finished my goal shawl, and I am seriously thinking I need to cast on a Frank shawl, even though there is ~*no*~ chance it will be done anytime soon 😅 I totally have two pairs of socks on the go, but how do y’all knit, finish things, go biking/ walking, read 12 million books AND still find time to work and sleep?! I’ll never get that proficient, I would rather nap 😝 Love y’all!

I'm sorry you guys are feeling the Boxy Chevron sweater. I understand, that's how I felt about last year's sweater.
I really want to see Death on the Nile. We watched a bunch of the old Poirot movies quite awhile ago, including this one, so I already know who did it but still want to see this take on it.

I love seeing all y’all’s knits. I always get great ideas from you guys! Christen, how many yards did you use for your worsted Musselburgh? Was 1 skein enough for a whole hat? Also I read where the crawdads sing too and didn’t care for it! I agree the writing was good, but the story was eh

Hey ladies - love the show as always. Christen that top is purty! Love those colors - they look gorgeous on you. Yes, Max needs to go outside! AND clearly you both came from church because Maddie has this angelic shaft of light right over her head for half the episode! I agree about Felici...DEF thicker yarn.
And if you don't wanna do that sweater in "butt hole" degrees I say don't do it!
Anyhow, Knit in good health xx, Professor Purl (you know which one!)
PS If you liked "Death On The Nile" it's based on an Agatha Christie book and she wrote some of the BEST mysteries of all time.

Oh my gosh so good to see you two again. I am dying at your cute doggie photobombing the podcast. My dog, Max, approves! Your knits look so good. Take care

I hear you both about migraines and neck pain …. Every once in a while I wonder if knitting makes it worse then I mentally shut that down! Love all your projects! Thanks for the laughs! I’m off to join you on goodreads (currently reading Addie LaRue too!) 😊
