Hi Caleb, this is an old video but I was wondering which quick release plate you had on the 5d. I want to put an a6300 on Manfrotto 561BHDV modopod head. The problem is that the plate that comes with the head touches the lens on the a6300. The plate you have in the video seems shorter.

I just bought a indislider mini slider (naked model) as my first slider. I will put it on a tripod, but wanted to know if you have any suggestions for cheap/best camera mount to use? I was thinking just to pull the head off an old tripod, but thought you may know of some good affordable approaches for better results/control of slider?

Fenomenal quality! It is GH4 if I understand? Why not 5d mark3? Is the GH better for you?

That's a great use of space! Is it only Manfrotto heads? I've got a pair of Pearstones that also have pan/tilt handles connecting with a non 1/4 20. It's a bout the same size, but with way more threads.
