Listening to this while I am alone, I can't even begin express how I feel, I am a Palestinian who studies in Bangladesh, far away from his family, listens to a kashmiri song that he barely understands 2 words of it, and feeling like he belongs to kashmir, thank you for this amazing masterpiece ❤️

Rah Bakshtam ser Parvardigaro
Tscze Kyeho waatiyo Myani Marnai
Oh Allah forgive all my sins and
show me the right way
What will you gain with my death

Sipaar treh mar Parema ki Aano
Phur nou Kuni govum zear zabri
I read the all thirty Sipars (Chapters) of Quran shareef ;
without making any errors checking the each and every verse carefully;and reading it faithfully

Ashqun khat Kansi pour na Yakbaaro
Cze kyeho Watiyo myani Marnai
But still i beleive the letter of love could not be read with such beauty and honour
Oh allah what will you gain with my death

Hyen ba aavus dhyen kyo bariyo
Wyen Kus rang govum khaas Babrei
I am deep caught nowhere to go
Seems Lush green Basil (Babr) is fading away

Looli sui thovtham lalvun Naaro
Cze kyeho waatiyo Myani marnei
It feels like the fire with no smoke is burning inside me
Oh allah what will you gain with my death

This song gives expression to my existential angst. It feels so cathartic to hear these beautiful words in this painful state away from home. Here are the lyrics with translation:

""Rah Bakshtam Ser Parvardigaro
Tsche kyoho waatiyo myani marnai ""
Oh the benevolent Lord forgive me my sins
What will you gain with my death?
What will you gain with my death?

"Sepaar Treh mar parim aki aanoo, pher noo kuni gom zere zabre",
Ashqun khat kaensi por na yakbaro,
Tsche kyoho waatiyo myanih marnai"

I recited thirty ‘Siparas’ of the Holy Quran in a single sitting, faithfully adhering to the diacritical intonations;
Yet no one the valentine letter punctuated with love could read with such facile speed.

"Hyena Beh aayas dyen kyoho baryo
Ven kuy rang gom khaase babere"

Deep enmaeshed, I drag my days of life in suffocation
Like a lush green basil fading away into non- being..

" Lole sui thovthamo lalvun naaro
Tsche kyoho waatiyo myanih marnai"

With the fire of love smouldering within my chest
What will you gain with my death?

We must be proud of our rich culture and unique identity.
