Historic old Victorian mansion built in 1901. Lots of incredible details and old antiques. Last owner was an elderly woman who passed on with no remaining family members so the house has sat in limbo for nearly 20 years now. Unfortunately it’s reaching a point where if it’s not saved soon the house will be gone. So glad I could document this beautiful hi so old house! Truly stunning old house! Hope you enjoy thanks for watching! One of my all time favorites ever been

Who else besides myself would like to start a foundation to save this incredibly beautiful home and others that Kappy shows before they are too far gone? I would live in this house in a heartbeat if I could!♥️

The former owners were together from their childhood up until their deaths. He was a pilot in the Second World War earning a Medal of Honor for his bravery. He wrote to his wife everyday whike she awaited his return from fighting overseas. He finally made it home and they purchased this beautiful home and he ended up becoming the sheriff in that town. It’s sad to think that just not that many years ago there were two happy and healthy souls living in and enjoying that old home together. Lord how proud they must’ve been to have acquired such an astounding home. This is just one story of many that end up being forgotten in time to never be of any importance ever again. Thanks kappy for showing this old home. It’s a masterpiece for sure.

This always makes me so sad to see these homes just sit and rot away and with all that beautiful furniture and everything else is just left there to rot, makes it even worse. It really does break my heart to see this.

I'd have to agree with you, Kappy. Never before in these tours have I wished so badly to have unlimited funds to restore a home. It has to be the most beautiful one you've shared, hands down. Hopefully someone will snatch it up and save it. Thank you for this wonderful tour!

Of all the houses you've been through, THIS ONE just HAS TO BE SAVED. This is the coolest, best laid out old house. The features are museum quality. Those spandrels were killing me. Still there after a hundred years. The doorknobs, this was a major CUSTOM house in it's day. Keep us posted on it's fate if possible.

Holy cow! Have to agree with you. One of the all time best old house finds. Those window casings, door knobs, the woodwork, just amazing. All that wine/burgundy decor so 1990s. Something about this is super special. I’m pretty realistic about the difficulty fixing up these places. If I had it, I’d gladly throw a million or two into this one. Thanks so much for sharing. Stay safe. ❤

I had a large family once myself. Now I am alone except for my pets. Never thought it would be this way. I feel for the woman that lived here. Maybe we would have become friends. I hold onto to my faith in the Lord that sustains me.

Can you only imagine pulling up to that house at Christmas . Shined . polished, the smells of Christmas . Everyone in period clothes . The house roaring with music.

This house is a piece of art. I hate to see old houses let to rot. This house could be beautiful again. I'd rather have an old house than one of the new ones they build today. Thanks for sharing.

This house is probably my favorite of all time. Imagine children running in and out, fires warming the rooms. Mother making meals while the children played games or sang together in the evenings to the piano. It just gives wonderful vibes and deserves to be restored and filled with a family again. Thank you for this ❤️

If that house isn’t a testament to quality and craftsmanship, then I don’t know what is, just Beautiful!!!

I think this has to be my favorite exploration of all time. The layout and craftsmanship that went into this home is astounding! I absolutely loved the wood ceiling detail, pocket doors, and impressive entry with that staircase ❤❤ just beautiful.

What is left behind is definitely a reflection of that last living soul. She was a warm personality, creative, artistic, elegant, admired Nature and so kept those things near to her in daily life. She may have been reaching out to accompany you on part of your tour. At 16:45, 1 single, very bright orb came towards you, then heading off towards the space above you as it passed. What a glorious, refined and comfortable floorplan, created back in the day when your abode was built to be your castle; back when being 'at home' was a revered part of living, meant to be gracious and comforting, such that visitors could be welcome to call but knew to be delicate and not to be a burden. Today, people clamour to 'get away, ' to be let out of their caskets and the shackles they call 'home' to exercise and compare their materialistic accomplishments. It was such a different vibe back in the day, and familiarity with that sort of comportment shall die off with those who recall those most gracious times. TY for sharing, Kappy. My heart is sad at what Human society has become but the memories of those times are heartwarming. God Bless and "Thanks for the memories..."

It’s interesting, how the fire places are all different and unique. The fireplace at the top of the first set of steps is made out of a different word than the steps, stair rail, and floor. The Frigidaire icebox was a cool find! I loved the door handles, pocket doors, and I found the windows, very unique how they had ledges that came out into the room and they all had shutters at one point. A master craftsman did the woodwork on this house. What wonderful detail in each room! Such a shame it is rotting away.

WOW! This one is in remarkably good condition. It really wouldn't take much to fix it up to be livable once again.
