Written by Ed Whitmore (Silent Witness, Strike Back) and directed by Marc Evans (Trauma, Safe House, Hinterland), Manhunt is the real-life story of how the murder of French National, Amelie Delagrange, on Twickenham Green in August 2004 was eventually linked to two other murders. Hard working and instinctive, DCI Sutton was assigned to the case and dedicated himself to finding Amelie’s killer. With no forensics, motive or witnesses, his painstaking approach and the diligence of his fellow officers gradually led to breakthroughs in the case and to suspected serial killer Levi Bellfield. But now the hunt is on for enough evidence to arrest him and make sure he’s found guilty at trial. The miniseries co-stars Claudie Blakley (Granchester, Cranford) as Sutton’s wife, Louise.

The Brits have done it again!
Great series with beautifully cast comedians, a solid scenario and a director who knows his knees from his elbows.
Martin Clunes needs to be seen in other Dramas as he has once again shown the width of his talent.

As a big true crime fan I've watched a lot of footage of Colin Sutton. Martin Clunes has got his voice, accent, mild manner and physical mannerisms down to a tee. Brilliant performance.

I think Martin Clunes is a superb actor. Even though you know it's him you believe in the character he plays. Be it comedy or drama he is excellent. I am watching ' Manhunt' at the moment. It is gripping. 'Warren' wasn't popular but I thoroughly enjoyed it. Clunes does 'grumpy git' to perfection 👌👌

Martin Clunes plays his role superbly. I'd like to complain the other actors, by and large, did not produce intelligible English; two countries separated by a common language. The subtitles were in Spanish and to small to read without my glasses; no menu control to change it on my visio TV. I'm struggling to get through this wonderful series and am polishing my Spanish at the same time. Mostly I am directing fault to Acorn TV. My controls on my Visio smart TV 📺 have trouble navigating the menu system set up by Acorn TV. After each episode I have to exit to the main menu, find acorn app, launch Acorn and try to find my series and episode; I do have a lot of other choices and hopefully these will soon be available on Britbox or Netflix or YouTube. Good shows but a bad streaming app.

Great acting cast! If it’s based on a true story, I’m wondering if the wife of Martin Clunes’ character was really such a selfish, whiny person. If your husband is in such a high demanding role and the public is demanding answers, cut him some slack

j, ai regardé hier soir sur FR 3 ce polar assez captivant mais basé sur des faits réels une pauvre fille au pair , venue de France se fait assassiner dans un parc de Londres , c, est affreux ! et dangereux pour ces jeunes -filles l, enquête est menée avec beaucoup d, attention .. , il est vrai que j, avais entendu parler de cette triste affaire .
