when i was a kid, i used to buy a lot of pirated games, as is the norm in brasil. Once i stopped at a guy that normally didn’t sell games, only dvd movies. he had rockstars’ manhunt. I always wanted to play that game, but the idea of it scared the shit out of me.

i waited a whole afternoon to gather the courage to play the game, and when i did, the tv flashed yellow. I thought “this isn’t manhunt at all” and when the opening ended, this song started and i thought “this is the best thing ever”. later this game went on to change my life forever.

Notice how rise and teddie are together? It hints at what happens when you’re in rises dungeon, also naoto is far back as she has the most to hide about herself

I thought my game was running slightly slower because of how the shadow runs, but I see that's how its supposed to be.

Now I can enjoy the game without worries, thanks!

My favourite thing about this title screen specifically is how it came after Pursuing My True Self, which is a upbeat and uplifting song in contrast to this song, A Corner Of Memories.

Let's make a petition for ATLUS to bring this back in a future patch for the Steam version. This is a perfect title screen and main menu. One that evokes all the feelings you're gonna experience in the game. PS: The big running character changes randomly every time you enter an option and come back.

GOD, this title screen and menu are so much better than Golden. Really wish you could mod it in

Something cool I found recently is how each character's outline can be shown running on the title screen if you keep going in and out of the main menu. This game never stops being amazing huh.

For all the people who grew up playing this, Hi. I was born in 2004 and I'm 16 now. Sometime i plan on buying this on steam. I just wish I could truly grasp the feeling of getting to play this when it came out. Though I do I hope I can have as much fun as you did :)
