For the couple that sued, those repeated delays are now probably the best thing that ever happened to them.

Some people have more money than sense...
Paying over 1/4 $Million to be sealed in a submarine to visit a doomed ship where thousands of innocent people died is insane...

They should be very grateful that the trip was constantly _delayed_ .

The guy fired for bringing up the lack of safety should now be CEO.

it’s not about the money, be glad you both weren’t trapped this tragic incident

In all seriousness, diving to the depths of the Atlantic Ocean in a hobbyist-built vessel is highly incompatible with safety. By signing off on a notebook filled with safety waivers, they willingly accepted all associated risks.

I wonder if the CEO is down there, either thinking, or had thought of the time the former employee had told them about the safety issue that's killing/killed them. This is such a bizarre story with so much DePtH.

Note to self. Not a good idea to name your submersible after the ill-fated Titanic.

I was told by an old naval aviator once when I asked him why he chose to fly then go in a submarine for his career. He said, "Well, just plain gravity. You see, everything that goes up, must come down. Whatever goes down, doesn't necessarily have to come up."

Turns out money can buy you love. What money can't buy you is invincibility or immortality.

Nine Empire State buildings deep, in a vessel built with parts from Campers World.😳

Sadly, at this point, it would take a true miracle. Either way, may God bless them. 🙏

15 HOURS LEFT - Plus everyone knows if they sub is at the bottom (which is 99%) they have no way to bring it up.

This company should have to give that money to the United States and Canadian coast guards instead of using our funds to find them!!

What a selfish person.. sure you reconcile the risk for yourself but never stop to think about the people who put there lives on the line to rescue you.

Imagine having enough money that you spend 1/4 of a million to go see a bucket of rust on the bottom of the ocean but it may cost you your life! While other humans don’t have clean drinking water. 💔

They should of waited to file their lawsuit. The CEO is kind of busy and hard to reach right now.
