Don't worry Jen. The French name is very weird and doesn't mean anything. Sireneuse doesn't exist and Étendu means 'lying' but for a man... I have no idea who came up with it but they're definitely not French. Even funnier: when I go to the US website, they redirect me to the French one and the name is not the same. 😂

Yay, the Nomad Polar Express palette! I don't think it looks particularly themed. I'm a big Nomad fan, and an even BIGGER Polar Express fan.I love red eyeshadow, wear it almost every day, and lately I've been LOVING a classic powdery blue.

The Viseart palette is stunning! I don't buy palettes anymore, but I may make an exception.

Excited to buy the Auric palette! I love the practical, elegant package, customizable application and satin finish for my mature combo/oily skin . I agree the price will deter me until there is a sale. Oooh and if Viseart is a finely milled formula is an easy purchase

Re: Oden's Eye - from my perspective, one that includes purchases from as far back as the original 3 collab palettes they did: I can say it in two words: Hard Pan. Their shimmer formula does not stand the test of time; all of their shimmers turn to hard panned useless rocks. And trying to remove the hard panning with tape, literally, removes huge chunks of any product underneath. Their mattes, in my opinion, have gone downhill and gotten quite patchy when applying. I have been nothing but frustrated with the last 3 palettes, and have removed them from my "buy" brand list. Just my 2 cents.

Thank you for this Jen, i needed somewhere to watch things not political today. Like yes i am not as targeted most likely with this election as lgbtq+ people and poc will be but theres still some stuff on project 2025 etc that has me so scared as a disabled woman. Im privileged to be a white cis person but every way else i will potentially be targeted so im stressed and i cannot move due to financial and health reasons and i am in one of the most red states in the country (i am in texas) so that makes me even more so scared. Anyway thank you again jen and i cant wait for the upcoming parts of the interview with gabriel. Edit: Also btw the full JC series long video is up to 65k views! Thats amazing. That same exact cherry lip component with that Kawaii collab has been used by another brand - possibly Wet N Wild, maybe it was a PacMan collab? I have the empty component that I saved from using the product.
