Thats the perfect device for the Secret Service, considering sloped roofs seem to be their Achilles heels...

Kudos to the account name! No copywrite infringement and gets the point across! One of my favorite movies!

I’ve been skeptical for a couple of years until last week. I purchased 2 of them because I was just sick of setting up awkward platforms for small jobs. I wish I had bought them a long time ago. I just used them on a 12 pitch. It took about 5 minutes to feel comfortable with them. Amazing product.

Having fallen off a roof just 2 weeks ago, it scares me to see him hopping around on this thing. A fractured pelvis was the limit of my injuries but that's painful enough. I'm going to be extra cautious in the future.

Wow! I love it! I have a 9/12 pitched roof and never feel comfortable on it.

I've been building my own out of scrap plywood and foam for more than 35 years...I learned this trick from a roofer that had worked on steep roofs in California in the late 1960's and early 70's...my foam of choice was called "superlite" and was used by backpackers as a sleeping pad...at any rate, these are easily site-built for a fraction of the cost of purchasing them...I've got 3 or 4 pairs and if they're kept out of the weather they'll last for many roofing jobs...all that said, good fall protection equipment is a must on any roof...having watched a 24 year old worker on a nearby job fall 18 feet and end up in a wheel chair for life is a sobering experience...safety on the job site is rarely addressed by YouTube presenters and this is really unfortunate...at any rate, be safe...

Foam from living room sofas works pretty good in a pinch

This looks to be a great product. Wonder how that bottom holds up through an entire Summer of shingles that absorb 120 degrees?

Imagine inspecting a large roof solo with a pair of these and you drop one…

The Secret Service needs one for a slightly sloped roof.

They are fantastic, but you really need a minimum of three per roofer. They save a lot of time as opposed to roof jacks, although we still keep one set of them at the eave of the roof for "just in case". The Pitch Hoppers are solid on the roof until... you step too much to the inside along the shingles or onto the outside ends, then the unexpectedly slip... and you scream like a schoolgirl. They are made from high density beadboard type styrofoam.

If you think it's expensive, fall off a roof and get back to me with that cost.

Put your knee pads on so when you fall to the shingles as your sliding down the roof at least your knees will be fine other parts maybe not on ground level!

It’s all fun and games until someone falls off the roof. Hope saving a little money pays off for you in end bro…

Too bad the secret service didn't have some of these

They're nice, but I'd rather just have roof Jack's, cheap, and whatever length you need
