The audio was recorded using a matched pair of AKG C414 for overheads, a Shure SM57 for the snare and a AKG D112 for the bass drum.

Best sounding pair of 12" hats I've heard. I think they work well as a set (I'm a fan of smaller cymbals in general). I currently play 2x different 12" splashes as a pair of hats, which works well with my Odery cafe kit, so not a BIG sound. I only step it up to 13" 'A' Quickbeats for my TAYE 'Tour-Pro'.
