I'm wondering how many people have done this install and blown out their gears down the road. In my experience if you pull that retaining nut on the pinion you have to replace the crush washer and reset your ring and pinion completely to maintain the same backlash as re-torquing the already crushed crush washer changes the

Its a "cardan" joint, not a "cardigan" joint. It's a coupling, not a sweater.

Why add the silicone to the inside of the flange installed at the rear differential and transfer case?
