A little detail you forgot, overlapping domains sure hit cancel each other. The reason why Sukuna was hit by UV was because he removed the sure hit of MS that was inside and clashing against UV sure hit, so he needed to keep touching Gojo to avoid the sure hit of UV. He did that in order to boost the sure hit of MS outside of UV, that was attacking the UV barrier for outside, and he took that risk because he has Mahoraga as a safety line in case he slips up and gets lobotomized.

Without Mahoraga, Sukuna would not employ such a risky play. Heck, without Mahoraga, Sukuna would not be stalling to give Mahoraga time to adapt inside his shadow, so during the domain clash Sukuna would be focused in attacking the weak side of UV and it wouldn't take him a whole 3 minutes to destroy UV.

This ignores a very important point. During their domain clashes Sukuna was intentionally attacking Gojo's domain in an un-optimal way. He could have destroyed Gojo's domains significantly faster had he attacked them from the inside rather the the outside after Gojo changed his domain's conditions. Gojo even mentions this, questioning why Sukuna would do this, and we know now it's so he could maximise his exposure to unlimited void to have big raga adapt.
I feel like this is the main reason Gojo believes he would have lost to Sukuna without 10S. Simply put, Gojo most likely would not have won or tied a single domain clash if Sukuna was going for the kill from the beginning.

Saying Gojo wins 10/10 is simply purely biased statement . The comments here explain why it is much better than the video itself. Its not a landslide. Sukuna nor Gojo stomps this fight. Even if, in terms of its potency, the UV is superior to MS, Sukuna in his heian form could withstand atleast a few more than 2 DE battles, proving he could be dealing much more DE damage than he did with Megumi body. While at the same time, Gojo being slightly faster and UV being able to hurt Sukuna enough to make him unable to DE battle, and better hand to hand combat, slightly puts him in advantage. Imo its 6:4 (gojo 6, ofcourse).

Tho Sukuna can put up his binding vows in action, like bro be pulling up binding vows like a drug addict promising to not use crack to his mother. But in terms of deathbattle, bringing the binding vows defeats the whole purpose of it, so 6:4 imo

well I think it depends. Cuz in their fight gojo couldnt open domain expansion 5 times and sukuna was abt to kill gojo when he was opening malevolent shrine while gojo had brain damage...It honestly just depends if infinite void will land or not cuz if its the heian era not meguna heian era body is built different so gojo might not be able to damage sukuna enough to make him late in the domain clash but gojo could also still damage sukuna to the point he's late and unlimited void lands

the extra hands (doesnt need to be stronger than cleave or dismantle) + cleave and dismantle would ensure gojo loses or at bare minimum, remains equal in his h2h confrontations with sukuna, which then means sukunas domain stays up, and gojo dies. If sukuna didn't have ten shadows, as gojo implied, he wouldnt be taking riskier options, which means gojo wouldnt have the same opportunities to hurt sukuna like he did in the actual fight. The flame arrow unironically 1 shots, and if it doesnt it leaves gojo in such a severe state that he'd be stomped right after getting hit with it, saying choso survived it for a bit so therefore gojo would eat it with rct is intellectually disingenuous, its very obvious that the only reason why choso "survived" for so long, was so he could give yuji his final words in a cinematic heartfelt moment, not because the technique isnt capable of obliterating him in 1 hit instantly like it did with mahoraga (who should have equal to, or relative durability to choso) The output was also, as you yourself stated, weaker than usual. he can't dodge it either, it hits everything within the range of the domain, because everything pulverized by cleave and dismantle gain explosive ce (he can then set to cleave and dismantle to only target nonliving things, allowing the fire arrow to hit everything within the domains aoe), and sukuna can create a seal on his domain without lowering the output, meaning gojo cant leave, nor can he escape the fire arrow.

Gojo would lose the first domain clash, get slapped with a fire arrow, then die. Gojo gets carried by plot (six eyes and limitless), and the fight was there to show sukuna is the superior sorcerer.

Gojo’s win con is to land UV which he struggled to do against a sukuna that went in to adapt the whole time and left himself defenseless most of the time. He’s not beating a sukuna that is more defensive if you don’t understand that then idk

Except Gojo said so himself he didn't think he could beat Sukuna even if he didn't have 10 shadows. While Sukuna had to worry about the other fighters, in a one on one fight Sukuna would have had the option to refresh himself by reverting to his true form sooner. That alone was enough to makeup for not having 10 shadows. Gojo could have conceivably won but who would have a better estimation of who would win then the guy who just lost?

During the 3 domain clashes where Gojo compressed his domain he barely could damage Sukuna in time for his domain to break. If Sukuna didn’t had to use Mahoraga he would be free to use domain amplification, shrine technique, and kamutoke, which would be more than enough to last more than 3 minutes. Gojo would simply have all of his domain broken and die once he’s too brain damaged to use domain

If you doubt, Gojo himself questions why Sukuna is opting to not use domain amplification all the time or use his own technique (chapter 228), opting for riskier strategies instead

Firstly choso in a way became a hollow wicker basket to protect yuji. Secondly the reason sukuna saves the fire arrow for the domain expansion is because of its small range of effect which was amplified by the sure hit effect. The target for the sure hit effect isn’t people though its the dust particles created by cleave and dismantle creating a cluster bomb effect. From kusakabe’s statement no one knew how the fire arrow worked not even gojo. The reason Sukuna didn’t use the fire arrow in his fight against gojo was the constant barrier condition changes which gojo only knew how to do because he was trapped in the prison realm.

Had sukuna used his full ranged domain of 200 meters gojo wouldn’t have been able to escape due to CT burn out. it also took 2 simple domains to heal his burnt out CT which could’ve been plenty of time to use the fire arrow and win. However Sukuna saw an opportunity through mahoraga to grow stronger and took the more difficult route in pursuit of bettering his jujutsu. Had sukuna not been playing with gojo he would’ve won and had gojo not been showing off he could’ve won too. In the end I don’t think gojo wanted to win because he hated being the strongest and how lonely it made him feel. IMO sukuna won before the fight even started but took the harder route for skill and gojo lost because of ego and mentality.

I agree with you that Sukuna's fire arrow would be useless against Gojo, but that doesn't mean he will lose 10 out of 10 times. In my opinion, Sukuna wins the fight if he wins the domain clashes. In the actual fight, in the third and fourth domain clash, they had a stalemate. Had Sukuna decided not to use Mahoraga, he would have transformed back into his Heian era form, and in this form, he is better in combat. However, we don't know if he is stronger than Gojo in hand-to-hand combat, but he doesn't need to be stronger in hand-to-hand combat, he just has to hold on longer. In the original fight, they broke each other's domain in roughly 3 minutes, which means Gojo needed 3 minutes in 2 domain clashes to injure Sukuna fatally. Sukuna just has to delay or block the last fatal attack, then his domain would break Gojo's domain first and his wouldn't collapse. This would be more likely because of his 4 hands. Then he just has to repeat this until Gojo gets brain damage and he can kill him with his close-barrier domain. But that doesn't mean Gojo stands no chance. He can tank the sure hit for a pretty long time, which gives him the chance to injure Sukuna and change the tide of the battle. However, I don't think it will happen very often that's why I think Sukuna will win.

Gojo would have killed trashkuna without his daddy mahoraga help , sukuna himself knows he can't do anything to gojo so he went and got ten shadows to defeat gojo, even with that he struggled like a Lil bitch and had to permanently damage his now ultimate technique to kill gojo by having him caught off-guard .these sukuna fans thinking he won majestically while in reality he got help from gege +plot+his unlimited binding vow bs technique helping him.
Anyway he is gonna be cooked by end of series

Pretty sure it was established that Sukuna would have beat Gojo if he didn’t get hit with unlimited void. And only reason why he got hit with unlimited void was due to not being able to keep with Gojo during the domain (his Heian form is physically much stronger and faster - he was able to beat Yuji in a race and Yuji is known to beat world records without cursed energy). Then Sukuna had to use RCT to heal himself before using RCT to heal his burnt out CT after the DE. That gave Gojo the lead start to activate his DE to hit Sukuna.

Keep in mind if Sukuna uses DA, he cannot use his CT at the same time. Meaning outside of a domain battle, Sukuna with DA absolutely cannot beat a Gojo that can teleport, use Red, Blue, Purple, RCT as much as he wants. Only thing is 4 Arm Sukuna would be better than Meguna in hand-to-hand combat, but Gojo was already shown to be very superiour to Sukuna in hand-to-hand. So maybe Heian Sukuna would just be brought up to Gojo's level in hand-to-hand, or be slightly better depending on how much of a buff he gets. No way he gets a 4-times-stronger buff to be able to kill Gojo just with his hands, when Gojo RCT'd from Sukuna's DOMAIN

The fact is Sukuna never would have picked a fight he can't win. He bid his time and at the right moment entered Megumi. He would have found other way to clap back.

Gojo was barely able to overpower sukuna in his domain before MS destroyed IV. If sukuna had 4 hands it likely just gives him enough of an edge for gojo to not pull it off in time.

Gojo already said that even without ten shadows it would have been extremely close.

People just want their favorite to be the strongest no matter what. We get Gojo himself saying that he probably wouldn't have won even if Sukuna didn't have ten shadows and people just dismiss it. Ignoring how much cursed energy he still has and that the narrator themselves said "As a sorcerer, there is no greater advantage than having twice the number of arms and mouth" There's more said about that and the specific wording might change based on where you read it but like really. We're seriously going to amount the greatest advantage a sorcerer can get to "extra punching"? Even if we were to ignore all the other benefits he would be able to get from that the whole reason Sukuna didn't win the domain battles was because Gojo was better enough at hand to hand combat to damage him. Gojo shows a clear upper hand in hand to hand combat but it's not so much that he's toying with Sukuna so yes "extra punching" would help very much in that scenario not to actually damage Gojo but so that he doesn't sustain as much damage and then actually win the domain battles. Not only that both of their objectives are different. Gojo is fighting to kill and Sukuna is fighting to survive. Obviously they are both trying to kill each other but Sukuna has to worry about fighting everyone else afterwards so him fighting a more defensive battle while trying to get mahoraga to adapt was smarter in that situation. Based on what was said and shown to us I wholeheartedly believe that Heian era Sukuna would have still beaten Gojo but it would cost him his transformation and he would likely expend more cursed energy leaving him in an even worse state than he is in now, which in the long term would just be worse for him since he gotta run the gauntlet AND now his technique is even stronger than it was before and if he ran into any other six eye limitless users he would have an immediate answer for them.

And also.. if gojo was 0.01 late he would have died sense now 4 attempts of domain expansion rotted his brain so sukuna COULD have won if gojo wasn't awfully lucky/skillful at his opportunities but maybe heian sukuna could use simple domain to counter infinite void from Gota and...well explain why gojo said "he wasn't going all out"
