Can hiv infect blood group O? studies have reported the occurrence of HIV in blood group O. In India blood group O individuals were found to have a higher incidence of infection, and the second study in Nigeria reported similar findings–increased HIV incidence among blood group O individuals.

Its not blood group o that is resistant to aids its specifically O negative. O positive are amoung the highest infected. However O negative does seem to carry some resistance to the disease.
