Never buy an Asus product. Period. As a Zenbook customer, I can tell you firsthand that their service support is absolutely terrible—by far the worst I’ve ever experienced. The inefficiency, lack of communication, and complete disregard for their customers are shocking. When things go wrong, expect endless delays and zero accountability. Spare yourself the frustration and go with a brand that actually cares about its customers!

With that price tag for a vivobook, it will be very interesting to pit it against the MacBook Pros. It is funny how intel finally caught up with an M2 chip after 4 years and with M4 right at the corner.

I've been using Asus Zenbooks for a long time (different versions). They make perfect laptops—slim, powerful, elegant, and good quality. Until it's a couple of years old, it gets slower even with 16 GB of RAM. And that's where MacBooks shine. You can still beat a new midrange Windows laptop with a few years old MacBook.

Hardware was honestly less of a problem in any windows laptop than the OS itself. I am a lifelong Windows user, recently shifted to a Macbook Air (8-256 that too) and the difference is day and night.

I do not think the Macbook air m2 is a fair comparison. If the S14 costs like a macbook pro, it should be compared to a macbook pro.

Okay so what I am gonna do, I will get a good enough work laptop for 53k (I have few options) and build a pc for 70k with 4060 and i5 13600k, and remaining 20k I will buy good set of peripherals and a good monitor, this would cost 1.43L which is same price as this laptop

well while buying these segments of ultra thin laptops, don't go for anything else than macbooks, sleek yet the fastest. If in for gaming or stuff, go for gaming laptops with dedicated cards and fans but for most of the productivity work, macbook does it all. and no other brand reaches the quality of macbooks honestly making it apple's most money efficient device yet on.
