Agree with you but it is very useful to pay hospital bills in case of emergency and when you don't have cash. We had experienced this during my Father's operation. Apart from this I have stopped using it for shopping. Thank you so much for sharing..

I just use credit card to keep liquidity in bank account so I can use it for emergency use. As salary comes, I pay all bills and use CC again.. as simple as that

My dad uses the credit card the most, but it’s for entirely different reasons, when the bill comes he is able to see all of the spending’s of the month and look for all the unnecessary ones, that way he keeps track of all the money spent while benefitting from the rewards and ease of payment.

I do not agree 100%. The first part is correct that it is easy to fall into the trap of more paying. But one keeps accounting off all its expenditures then the Credit Card is a really good one.

My brother is a chartered accountant and had 7-8 CCs till 2021. He used to spend way way more than planned and had to arrange money to pay the billing cycle.
One day, he deactivated all CCs and broke them.
Now he carries only one card that only for fuel purposes as it saves him money.

One tip: pay the bill immediately from you account to credit card after each transaction, this way your actual money will be getting lowered and you won't do extra expenses, plus keeps the credit card utilisation ratio low.

I buy groceries, medicine, fuel, educational resources, music subscriptions, ott subscriptions, pay for bills(electricity, gas, phone) and does dining with credit card these are absolute necessities in our lives and I don't actually panic buy stuff(which takes a lot of discipline)

Everything has both good and bad sides.A knife can be used for many things.it depends on intellect of person not the instrument.
That's my point of view on things.But I do believe we should be careful and intelligent enough to get benefit out of anything from which we can ...😁🙂
