Whenever I see people rally these cars my first thought is: "Rear-wheel, I4, seems like not the most optimal setup for off-roading." Then I remember that a good chunk of the Group B cars were just that. So naturally I kinda want to make my little N/A a rally beast like this. Cheers!

Beautiful rig!! And very real compliments to your father's sense of class and skill...really loving those seats especially. Mind if I ask what the company name is? And any idea what that would cost to have done? I'm definitely interested if it's affordable?

If you're not purest, you could always put a Holden LS-3 in there!😉 The transaxle can easily handle it and the weight isn't much more (roughly 13.5 kilos more than the original turbo engine), so you're still very close to 50/50 balance. Lots of people in the states do it with the GM LS-1's and LS-3's.
