Did you know that there were two special trees in the Garden of Eden? The tree of life gave eternal life to those who ate its fruit, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil gave people the ability to distinguish between good and evil. God told Adam that he could eat the fruit of any tree in the garden except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If Adam ate the fruit of this tree, he would die on the same day.
