The Unsolved Murder of Robert Sterling - Investigating A Crime Scene

A gruesome murder still unsolved to this day. I take a trip to the scene of the crime.
Trying out a new video format, purely because I wanted to get some fresh air and check out a local story that I've read a lot about. Let me know what you think of this style of video. If I do more like this I will try to get some better recording equipment. I recorded most of it on my phone and it doesn't cope well with forested areas (lots of video compression), plus the audio is pretty bad as soon as theres a slight breeze or traffic. It was enjoyable to record though.

If you are looking for any videos that have been removed from youtube, you will usually find them here:

Imagine camping in the woods and you hear someone walking around detailing how someone was gruesomely tortured and murdered

You know you are an elegant man when you get shot and yell, "Oh Dear!"

16:45 some random person walking by hears that “I don’t think this is a good place to hide a body nowadays”

The disembodied voice gains a hand.
I reckon with another 800k subscribers he can gain the power he needs to generate the rest.

Great job on the artwork. I really dig the "faces in the foliage" at 20:11. I had forgotten you were an artist as well.

Shrouded Hand, I love the different format for this video. I liked the mixture of drawings and live location, it made for an interesting watch. Maybe not every video but more like these would be awesome. 😀

I love this in person visual that we get with this video, It makes me feel more immersed.

I like the format. Makes it creepier by erasing that comfortable distance when just reporting on a story that happened "somewhere, somewhen". When you're standing right there and showing "here's where it happened, " it brings it home.

I enjoyed this format more so than any other. Just like being led around by a tour guide

This channel scratches my morbid curiosity itch so hard I get scabs.

I first saw legs then a whole body dangling in front of that tunnel. Turns out it's just ivy. Great way to start a video. Creeped me immediately, thanks

Bro you are on to something if all YouTube story tellers made their videos like this it would be amazing and soothing

This is honestly devastating to see and know about. We appreciate how much you go into depth with all the details in regards to this case. We look forward to see more.

I really like this format. Really heightens the immersion. I also really liked the way it switched between vlog style and the artwork. We even got some spooky stories at the end.

I can listen to him talk about literally anything I love his voice sm (also did you do the drawings? They're pretty good)

I love when you include illustrations like this! Adds a lot of visual interest, and the fact you've taken extra time and care to do them by hand where some would just use AI speaks to why this channel is one of my favourites.

I would personally love to see more videos in this style. Mixing recounting local stories with actually going to the location is always interesting, especially if the stories are grounded in reality and not just campfire tales.

I like this format, but really only because I love overgrown hilly vistas and stonework covered in moss.
