But seriously, it would be cool if each fleet actually had distinguishing markings. Like the original fleet we wiped out before the counter attack happened.

There is also a few other leaked subdivisions, but this one will probably be released first. Other sub-factions include Panzer, Phalanx, and Assault divisions, with the assault division having "shock troopers". The bugs on the other hand have the Armored, Acid, And Predator brood, The predator Brood notably uses cloaking so expect more stalkers and possibly shadows. Found these in the leaks discord so don't expect these to be real or coming out soon.

Wait, I remember these things already being in the game...
Around the time Viper Commandos dropped there were very shiny Automatons that you could fight, something to do with a Major Order to do with a "peta factory" as well I think.

My guess is, if they DO exist, the Iron Fleet would be a sort of specialized variants, their version of Special Ops. Who knows, maybe they’re even the Honor Guard for a very specific enemy VIP we all know and hate…

Just encountered them a while ago but it was only the troopers, and the breaker took care of them

Some of the iron fleet troopers are already in the game, I've seen silver jetpack troopers a couple times now in game, and I'm also pretty sure they are at the end of the escalation fo freedom trailer

As a Destiny vet, sub factions can make the game feel so much more alive and deep. Alpha commanders calling in red warrior bugs makes alpha commanders a really nice addiction imo. Out of everything in the newest update they feel the most well rounded and balanced

I highly doubt this is real. Its very easy to change the surface materials of 3D models and render images of them. My guess is a modder is stirring up rumors, which is actually pretty cool!!
