I loved season one, but in my opinion they ruined the second season completely. Why did they remove almost the complete supporting cast? I was shocked, the teachers coffee room was empty all the time, the removed George Pappas, who would have been great in further dialogues with Korn. They removed Miss Goodwin, did they have no other idea to drive Korn into Hollys arms? Funny, they were not able to remove her daughter too, just because she represents one part of the lesbian relationship in this series. They even removed a full member of the basketball team, Olive. And last not least they also removed the evil Miss Grint and ALL parents of the basketball team. Also the basketball theme was driven to a minimum in this series. Certain aspects important in sports were also cut down, it is silly to put players on the team in the final tournament, which have no idea of the playbook, which played a very important role in season one. Also the fact, that all team members had episodes focussing on each of them in season one was great.
In the end, I had the feeling, they sacrificed everything making season one great, just to transform this series in a teenage drama high school TV series like hundreds before. I almost cannot express, how disappointed I was.
