Great explanation!!! Many people struggle to understand the difference between the two becus they think having thyroid disorder means one thing only. 👍👍👍

I have hyperthyroidism. My heart is beating fast, I have tremors, I lost a lot of weight, have short periods, muscle sore in thighs (as if I worked out hard) and short of breath.

Been diagnosed of hyperthyroidism way back yr 2011. I had to take pills every single day. But when my thyroid tests came back to normal i stopped my medication without notifying a physician . Last time i checked my T4 was 16.30 and TSH was 1.2. Now i noticed that im gaining more weight, having mood swings, hair falls, poor thinking, memory gap, and usually feels sleepy. Having these type of disorder is very difficult to deal with.

Thank you for this. I have been born with Hypothyroidism and its frustrating when my friends tell me "you're not studying enough." When really I am, my memory just sucks because of this disorder.
