One of their top 5 songs of all time a real ass kicker.

They filled that grey area between punk & metal...just good hard rock/power pop!

They're from Rockford IL and their music is like the sun beaming down on a California freeway

I was right there at the beginning and bought the first three lps when they were new. Easily their best work. One of my younger sisters bought The Dream Police, but it didn't grab me nearly as much as they began to become another arena rock band(she bought the Budokan lp too). But the first three? Fantastic stuff. Thanks.

My grandfather was an Oregon state senator who ran for governor of Oregon and nearly won. My power and influence exceeds his, and I am famous in heaven. He had a plaque on the wall of his kitchen at his home in the west hills of Portland that read, "The closer you get to the top, the less competition there is". The German philosopher Frederick Neitche said, "There is a naivete in admiration. The admirer assumes that he could not be admired". I don't worship rock stars or kiss their asses. They have God given talent and often fail to give credit where credit is due to their maker, Jesus. I admire the God-man Jesus and glorify Him.

Hear that energy?! Long live rock. Rap (or should I say crap) is dead.

1) la metrica de los versos atenta contra una muy buena melodía casi new wave. Nielsen no consideró limitar la parte de la letra a favor de la metrica. Ejemplo.. The bigger they are the harder they fall again.... Es un lindo refrán, pero no encaja metricamente...
2) atento a esto, Robin Zander pronuncia la mitad de la frase, y hace lo mismo en otras partes de la canción. A su vez ' if I go up' o 'and when I am down' tienen ese salto ritmico horrible. Y el inglés de Zander es confuso y gtita innecesariamente casi todo.
3) la canción me gusta mucho de todas formas
