Following his first classic set for us in New York a couple years back, it was only right to bring the legendary Pete Rock back in celebration of our 5th anniversary.

If you know anything about hip-hop you'd know the songs he's playing; most if not all were sampled at some time or another.

I love see younger crowds enjoy the history of R&B and hip-hop. A good DJ should be able to mix just about any genre of music together. It's not always about matching beats, it's about moving the crowd.

Great set!

Great collection of songs in my view, but the mixing doesn't come anywhere near the status Pete Rock has for me as a producer. Enjoy!

well, as i see so many negative comment i can say only this - pete rock doesnt need to prove anything. He can play w/e he wants to and how he wants. He did enough epic sh1t in the past being well known producer, one of the best. Peace

i see all these crazy comments about one of the greatest producers to ever live. he's one of the few thats keeping hip hop alive. show some respect.

It takes imagination to create what you want to hear first. From then your mind must be ten records ahead of what you're playing. If you don't have character amongst all of this to add on the mic, it won't help your party. I applaud Pete Rock for his contributions to hip hop. As a Dj for many years I've learned the technics of rocking the hardest crowds. People think it's easy to Dj. They think it's just playing records.
