In this video, I go over details you should know before purchasing a used or replacement M112 Eaton Supercharger for your SVT Lightning, SVT Cobra, Harley-Davidson Edition F-150, or other project. I talk about factory pulley sizes, design considerations, unique rotor coatings, snout text, and general information. It seems like I see people purchasing the wrong blower for their project because they get in a hurry to score a deal and end up with something that won't work very well. Watching this video should give you a base level of knowledge to buy the right part for your project.

The M112 in the Cobra actually supported more power. The uncovered rotors in the Lightning inlet actualy lower its capacity. The old Magnum Powers housings for the Lightnings use to shuv the factory M112 rotor pack foward away from the inlet which carried the powerband out further.

Good video took me a couple years to find it but thank you very much for your time on this and I see that you're actually a guy that answers comments which is about only 2% of people that make videos I wish they were more guys like you. See you on the forum. Speedz06

Hey man great info. Thanks for posting. I got an M112 on eBay for a 2001 pre-terminator 4V and the blower needs work. Where do you suggest I send it for porting and a full overhaul including rotor coating? I don’t want to end up with the same shop that didn’t work out for you twice.

gday mate, i have a 2000 mustang 4.6 2v with the saleen m90 series 1 supercharger kit and bearings i think failed but now i think about it the noise was like paper stuck in a vacuum and could have been the teflon coating coming off? its coming off in sheets now cause i was stupid and cleaned the rotors and the coating is fkd and peeling off.
my question is; in your experience having non coated rotors have u had any issues like thermal expansion etc? i cant see a telfon coating stopping much expansion because of heat sink the teflon wouldnt keep the rotors cool.

im worried if i take all the coating off i may sieze the m90 and destroy it?!

Does the M112 have a special vented pulley bolt?

#zzperformance makes different size pulleys all the way down to a 2.8 if I’m not mistaken.
