Awesome tip ive been a big advocate of this for years it also means you have the dry groundbait to hand to dip a wet rig in and dry/dust prior to loading in a bag

Mean I've never had hook get impaled like. Especially in the PVA bag. Worst that happens is rig gets tangled.

Be very careful though. If you use too much it will lift the bag and can make a right mess instead of a nicely presented pile.

I’ve always just fished a hook a weight or pre loaded waggled and live bait I’ve caught a lot of species of coarse fish never felt the need for ground baiting and all these expensive scientifically altered baits or whatever they are just seems like a big waste of money to me 😂
