How to fix EOS UTILITY not recognizing your camera and not working

In this video I detail out you can fix the issue of EOS Utility not recognizing your camera. its a pretty simple solution.

If you are using your camera for streaming, you can use Canons new appEOS Webcam Utility.It allows you to send a clean video signal to your computer without needing a capture card.

I actually use a Mac, but your solution pointed me in the right direction - I found a couple of apps that had been installed but no short-cuts created. One of these apps allowed me to connect to my camera. Thank you for taking the time to share your solution.

Oh my God THANK YOU MUCH. For the past 7 hours i've been in tears because my EOS utility just suddenly stopped working, I tried everything I know of but no solution. I was just about to purchase a new cable from Amazon cos i thought maybe the usb cable is faulty then I saw your video and followed all the steps and bam!!!!
