Geometry Dash is a really great game, but it's kind of stuck in the past. Fortunately, I have some professional game development advice that's sure to make it 100x worse. So what if Geometry Dash was free?

I have an idea to make this GD idea worse. In the treasure room, instead of just getting a chest when you pay for one, you get 5 you have to choose from. The rewards you actually get would be completely predetermined, but after you open a chest, the other ones would reveal their contents, and one would always have at least an Epic icon, and would have a high chance to have one of the time limited icons you want. This would encourage people to spend more on keys since they'll think the odds of getting the icons are higher than they are.

just like you said at the end of the video, i realized how much we take this game for granted. geometry dash is the gladiator of the mobile game industry, fighting against the norm that is making the player addicted to playing the game and spending more and more on it. i am very thankful to rob that he hasn't done anything like that and keeps the game free with so much content...

and let's hope he doesn't get inspired by this video. 😭

Here's 5 more Ideas I came up with.

1. 2 Editor sections, a basic one with only like 1.9 stuff that you can access for $17.95/month and the levels you make won't get rated/featured. And then a premium section for $27.95/month where you get access to eveything and can get rated levels. Also you have to get the first editor section before you can buy the second one.

2. The ability to pay 1-5 gems to respawn in practice mode (the easier the level the more gems you have to pay).

3. A second type of keys, better then demon keys to unlock better chests and you have to pay more money for them. Also you can only open 1 chest/day but you can watch an ad to open more chests.

4. A third daily chest, so people watch more ads

5. Watching ads for orbs/gems but you need to watch 5 ads to get 1 gem, like in knife hit.

If literally any of these get added I am quitting the game and crying alone in my room for at least a week. Robtop, I am begging you to not do this. Please...

There should be a piggy bank: You earn a few extra orbs per level and save them up, and to claim them you need to pay money to 'break open' the piggy bank

There should be an exceedingly rare but still ever so slightly possible chance of a player's save getting permanently deleted, which can just be chalked up to a server error and they need to pay for all the features again

Also, add another subscription that increases the amount of max energy you have

Default Energy Plan: 15 max energy, regenerates one every ten minutes(free)
Great energy plan: 25 max energy, regents once per eight minutes(7.49/mo)
Pro energy plan: 36 max energy, regents once per five minutes (15.99/mo)
Energy+++: 50 max energy, regents once per 3mins (30 dollars/month)
