The first goal shows just how important it is for the team to be mentally on it, as well as showing their talents. Lovely pass by Marcondes, without telegraphing it, excellent run by Crnac (I think) in the middle, to draw a defender and Sargent then putting himself in the resulting space, to be available for the pass. Simple, but brilliant!
Schwartau had another influential game, Crnac showed much of the reason we paid what we did for him and Dobbin's goal was a brilliant individual display of a never day die attitude, ending with a perfectly placed goal.
The substitutions at half time were spot on, Sørensen was steady when he came on and the 2nd half compared to the first was like night and day.
The 5 substitution rule certainly helps, the squad and game narrative. I wonder what City's one sub in the 80's, Ross Jack, would've thought having that extra company on the bench 😁

I feel Crnac is a Thomas Müller type of player
He's not the most skilled, agile, fast, strong or creative, but he shines when he plays behind a striker

Good to see some goals Swansea defending was, er....like Norwich recently !
I'd rather see another forward doing some of the work for Sargent, but it does lift the crowd when a player gives it their all ... one complaint, 'USA, USA' - c'mon even "Sargent !, Major !, getting the goals again " would be an improvement!
