My husband and I took our kids to a Japanese tea garden and there were tons of people taking pics there. We were sitting at the patio area drinking our tea and this teenage girl was sitting at the table next to ours alone just scrolling on her phone. Then her dad came up and was pretty much just begging her trying to convince her to come look at the garden and take pics with the family. It was so adorable how much you could tell he loved this girl and wanted so much for her to come take pics, but she was just completely unfazed and just continued to sit there on her phone looking “cool”. He eventually gave up and walked off, but would occasionally come back to show her pics he had taken on his phone. He said “Look! Look at this! So beautiful, like paradise! You are missing all the paradise.” Haha I felt so bad for him, but it was also really funny and heartwarming to see him dote on her.

I'm a mom of 3, and sorta 7, because I raised my sister's 4. And it's so funny, I say it all the time. They go from loving all over not caring about the attention and the love you give and not caring who sees, until it's like one day, 💥, they're a teenager or pre teen and suddenly it's like you're a lepar 🤣🤣. You cant talk to them in the store, you can't give them a hug unless there's only you two around...

the comments of parents in the comment who talk about having a mean child brokes my heart. idk why but i never really had that face in my teenage year where i didn't wanted to be around my parent. idk why i was so scared that they would die tomorrow, i am still so scared of that. so i really enjoyed any bit of moment i could spent with them.
