In this video I share a rare studio acoustic recording of the Smashing Pumpkins song "Prefect"

I have never been able to find the source of this recording, so if anyone has information on the date or location of recording please let me know.

Here’s a quick rundown of the tuning and chords. Because of the alternate tuning, it’s essentially all open chords. The album and acoustic demo on the Adore reissue are in standard tuning, except the 5th string is tuned up from A to B. This rare demo is tuned down 1/2 a step to D# and the 5th string is still tuned up one step to A#. You’ll have to figure out strumming and picking on your own.

Thanks for posting! Though, I'm still in search of the version Billy played during his 2008 tour. Plenty of videos available on that but haven't had the time to figure out tuning and chords as audio and video quality aren't that great.
