Maraming tao na nag-aagree dito pero un pala, di naman sila apektado, di naman nila alam kung anong mararanasan ng mga 18 year olds kapag nagt-train na sila. As a 15 year old and since panalo si Sara as VP I disagree to have a mandatory military service. I also speak for other people who will turn 18 in her term and don't want mandatory military service.

Mandatory military service? minors will think it's fun until they experience hazing, sexual abuse and discrimination.
Obey first before you complain system.
As a parent ROTC is good enough and let the children decide if they want to pursue the military career after.
So many aspiring PMA students every year and only few are accepted, why not start from there and admit all aspirants then the country will have enough servicemen.

That would be the fastest way to almost finish college or university education..
Maybe if a person dropped out of education and was unemployed it MIGHT work.
(Unless the country only wants cheap labor to export overseas).

Nalulungkot ako para sa Gay, Lesbian, Trans, LGBTQ, anong uniporme ng military ang pipiliin mo. Saang restroom ka na sabay sabay kayo papasok? Endless sexual harassment and bullying ang mangyayari. Sa straight guys and girls na lang ang dami nang hazing na mangyayari, iyan pa? Forced military training just weaponize the youth, why dont we focus our efforts in really helping the youth by creating jobs, through education and training teaching marketable and ussfull skills.

The good thing to do is to make the military, naval, and police force an attractive career for young people to enter. Galing na ako CAT tas ROTC. Wag nyong pilitin ang ayaw. Di nyo alam ang trauma na inabot ng mga napipilitan lang kasi requirement. Hindi sha makatao at makatarungan. Gandahan nyo ang benepisho ng militar at kapulisan, maraming papasukin yan!
