A Divine exchange was made only because of the cross: Jesus took away our sins and gave us in its place His righteousness.
Jesus took care of everything so we don’t do anything to secure salvation. Jesus covered it all.

Thank you for this teaching. I know we must do our part and be obedient to to God's word. However, I wish you addressed the Holy Spirit (the third person of the Trinity) and how he helps us with the sanctification process. We need the power of the Holy Spirit to help us live in righteousness. Dealing with sin and strongholds in our life only can be overcome by the power that comes from above. I do believe that we need to fully submit God and his Word and his will for our life and yield to the Holy Spirit- our helper.. Jesus said clearly in John 15:4-6
"Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned." To produce Righteousness and the fruit of the spirit we need the helper that Jesus promised to send. John 15:13-15 says:
13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come. 14He will glorify me because it is from me that he will receive what he will make known to you. 15All that belongs to the Father is mine. That is why I said the Spirit will receive from me what he will make known to you.”

I’d encourage you to start talking about the gift first thing in the video. In the beginning of the message it sounded like we have to be right in our own strength. But I’m glad you got it to at minute 21.
