I can't get over the fact that the new NYX palettes that are coming out are $30!! I don't know if that can even be considered "drugstore" anymore. Perhaps they are blazing a new trail of bridging/changing from a drugstore brand to a mid-end brand. Not sure that I like that! :-/ Hopefully they will hear all of us and head back to their roots!

Anyone else feel like NYX is going up in price and not really "drugstore" anymore? Both primers she mentioned are like 16 dollars and the new element palettes are THIRTY DOLLARS!!! I have such a hard time buying NYX products because they are getting so pricey...

A NYX freestanding store has just opened near me (and the very first one in South Africa, too) so the timing of this video is just perfect! Drugstore is so expensive here in any case and NYX is no exception, so these types of videos are super helpful. Thanks again for the lovely video <3

You're not crazy. $15 for a NYX primer is (imo) outrageous. That's not drugstore. It's nearly high-end/prestige. I like the Angel Veil (oily skin gal here) and I bought and it and will probably buy it again, but it makes me so sad to see drug store prices rising. That's where the "average person" could buy their makeup without having to spend tons of money. Don't get me wrong I buy high end stuff too but not exclusively. Part of the reason I'm able to buy Bare minerals or Nars foundation and Clinique or Philosophy skincare is because I was able to also buy items at the drug store for less. That's how I built my collection and I hate to see that fade away.

I'm 45 years old and I love the NYX Gotcha Covered concealer! It hides my imperfections very well including wrinkles. Makes me look younger and blends well. Also the NYX Vinyl liquid eyeliner is the absolute best! :)

I also love their jumbo pencil in Milk. 🙂 I find that it's a great base for eyeshadow. 😊
