Crazy how people are dying and companies that are claiming to be essential are only getting like $2 an hour more or small bonuses, while the companies are seeing HUGE profits from this pandemic.

Every worker still working at this time should get Hazard pay. Period. Their billions are still flowing and they are not going broke anytime soon. Off top

Amazon has notoriously treated their employees terribly.

Even in times like this all they care about is their profits.

The sad thing is Amazon and Instacart will just hire new workers.

I've seen undercover boss enough to know that most ceo's cannot do the work they demand from their workers.

Do what's right by your employees.

to the people who say “be thankful you have a job” are missing the point entirely. These people want to work, but believe that their health is being put at risk doing this job, which it is. I work at FedEx as a package handler and all they’ve done is told us to wash our hands and have janitors clean the bathroom once every two hours. There is no social distancing, no mandatory glove or mask protection and in a single day a package handler will touch up to 3, 000 packages. These companies don’t care about the well being of their employees. Workers, as well every member of society, should demand more from these multi billion dollar companies to keep them in check.

Well, looks like I'm not buying from Amazon anytime soon. For one, I'm not supporting a company with my business if they can't ensure the safety and well being of their employees, and two, If they are not taking safety precautions to stop the spread among their own employees, how am I supposed to trust anything I order from Amazon isn't contaminated?

They don’t care about the workers, they are right about it being cleaned.

They need mask, gloves, more money and a sanitized building to work in. That goes for all essential personal.

Don't forget: Every product on the store shelves has been touched by human hands.

Please remember to wipe down your groceries with antibacterial wipes or some other type of disinfectant.

We make magazines...yes...magazines, and we somehow are considered essential, because of lawyers fighting our states mandate.
So I blame the Pennsylvania governor for not actually caring. They changed their mandatory list to include “printing”.
If we take off, we are not allowed unemployment according to our company.
We make no extra money, or get anything extra for coming into work and making them money.
All the big shots work from home. LSC COMMUNICATIONS, their motto is safety first....unless of course it means lost money then all bets are off.

As a doctor, these workers deserve double pay, time and a half, ⛽ and assurance of payment for illness treatment, should they become infected. They are reducing your risk, by increasing theirs exponentially! They see more people than health-care workers.

I work at a call center with several different businesses. We share desks (over 3 mos now) & lockers (since mid-March, because they don't want to be bothered with assigned lockers anymore). They didn't set up ANY social distancing until 5 days ago. There's NO Clorox Wipes, NO hand sanitizer but 2 weeks ago we were told we can bring our own (none available to buy now!). Today I'm home sick, coughing for 2 days. No insurance, no paid sick leave. $12.50/hr. I worked nearly 70hrs the ONE week overtime was offered because I knew it was only a matter of time that I catch this virus.

Wow it’s almost like the rich need the workers. We are in this together.
