Play-Doh is one of the most famous kid’s toys of all time. Even the scent of the soft, salty dough brings you back to better times as a kid with no worries in the world. However, did you know that Play Doh wasn’t even supposed to be a kid's toy? It was actually invented to clean wallpaper, but later was discovered to be a fun plaything. In this video, I’m covering the entire inspiring story of Play Doh, from how two brothers saved their dying business by creating “Kutol Wall Cleaner” to how Play Doh became one of the most famous toys of all time.

1) I realized late in the editing process that Kutol is pronounced “Cut-all”, not “Koot-all”. Also, soot is pronounced “sut” not “suit”, so I apologize for that (Haven’t passed a 3rd-grade reading level, but I promise I will get better!)

2) Also while late in the editing process I realized the picture I used for Cleo McVicker was actually just a younger version of Joesph McVicker. I looked for hours (I wish I was kidding) to find a pic of Cleo McVicker, but I couldn’t find anything. I kept the image of Joseph for storytelling purposes, but I wanted to clear that up if anyone noticed! Every other character’s picture is accurate. I apologize for that as well

Absolutely Still ADORE Play Doh! btw you can model current play doh, dehydrate it and it becomes ROCK HARD and you can carve it, polish and sand it, add to it, rehydrate it and reuse it! no matter *HOW* Old it is! because it's got Borax in it, so it won't mold or Mildew!

You have some of the pictures incorrect. The person you pointed out a Cleo is actually Joseph Mcvicker and the other guy you have as Joseph McVicker isn't related to them. He was a college professor. A lot of sites have it wrong. It took me a while to get the right pictures with the right names myself as I'm also doing a short documentary.
