Aggressive Tone. If you're looking to add an edgy exhaust note to your S550 V6, this Borla Stinger S-Type Catback is a good option to consider. It produces a loud and throaty sound, without being over-the-top, so you get a milder sound quality versus some other options out there. The S-Type is Borla's middle-of-the-road catback when it comes to volume, so you won't be waking up your neighbors, but it's still aggressive enough. Again, this will fit on any 2015 to 2017 Ford Mustang V6 model. Strong Construction. Borla uses stainless steel to make this catback, so it's strong and heat resistant. The tubing measures 2.25 inches in diameter, plus has mandrel bends for excellent performance. Both tips measure 4 inches and have a chromed finish, plus the Borla logo embossed on them. Straightforward Install. Like other catbacks for the S550, this one is easy to install. It's a direct replacement for the factory system, so you don't need to drill holes or cut anything, because it uses the stock attachment points. You'll need a way to work under the car, plus wrenches, sockets and other basic tools. It's great to have a helper, since the system can be a little cumbersome to hold while attaching everything. Plan on this job taking you about two hours.

Purchased about a month ago, never really heard them from outside my car, since I installed them and drove it immediately. Few days later had my dad drive around so I could hear them...and I was veeerryyy impressed. From the inside they're soooo quiet it's actually quite deceiving lol previously had on the outlaw axle backs.. if you want loououd..I'd go with the atak...but if you want a good note that's pleasant....then go with these 👍

I like the SType better than thr ATAK. I have the SType in my 2014 Focus too and its holdimg up well for 7 years through winters with salt etc. I cleaned it up last spring amd it still looks brand new.

Are these loud ? I want something that gives a deep tone but is at a moderate amount of loudness for my V6, I was thinking of the FM Outlaws but I'm not sure

what is the difference between the stock resonator and Borlas resonators? Is it worth me getting the full catback? and is it possible to add the resonator with the stock mid piping later on?

I...am...so...torn between this and the atak. I love the deeper tone of the s type but I feel like the atak will yield better pulls. If you look at the rpm gauge on the video for the atak it actually hits redline (which I'm also a fan of). Are you guys pulling differently with each exhaust? I would imagine it should be the same?

i have this exhaust in a convertible. the pipes hit the sub frame and vibrate like crazy. and the tips look asymmetrical out the back. not the precise fit you think your getting. a little bummed out about it. the clown at American muscle said to take it to a muffler shop. yeah. sounds nice tho. but dissatisfied some.
