How to add numeric keyboard with decimal point IONIC 4.

This has a little bit of a flaw. If you make your save button that activates only when the form is valid, this will not work. It's due to the pattern. Even though pattern="[0-9]*" will accept the decimal point, in the form, it will show as invalid. When you use it with the decimal pattern: pattern="[0-9.]*", this works but messes up the keyboard in ios. How do you solve this issue?

I followed this tutorial perfectly but unable to get the decimal point on the keyboard. I am using ionic4 with capacitor and added the Cordova plugins you mentioned for the keyboard. Would this prevent the decimal from showing?
