The Last Thing He Told me is based on a novel of the same name and is being produced by Reese Witherspoons company Hello sunshine. It would seem Julia Roberts pulled because of scheduling issues according to Deadline. The story is about a woman who bonds with her 16 year old stepdaughter as she searches for her husband.

The book itself was a hit, published in May this year and has spent 27 weeks on the best seller list and 1.3 million copies have already been sold according to Daily Mail.

If the book was successful, no doubt the movie will be too if executed well and we are sure Jennifer Garner would play the role perfectly.
