A spectacular movie that justapoxes and contradicts what everyone expected. The plot twists and turns to surprise all and sundry confounding all as to whats going to happen next. And the ending is akin to sweet surrender (The Bread).

Heading to Devonport for a 2am departure on the boat thought I would get fuel in a smaller town to support them but they were all shut, kept saying ok the next town ( this was 20 years ago), it was around 10pm wife and 2 boys under 3 in the car decided I would nearly have enough to make it to Devonport but was not 100% so in Elizabeth Town I saw house. With lights on knocked on the door and bought a bucket of fuel from them that we siphoned out of their car. My wife always makes sure I fill up before leaving now. 😊

Interesting movie. The way the storyline ends is quite surprising. I thought Clark was in love with Helena, but he suddenly switches to Emily. A bit odd. Helena's dress style is ... Then, why agree to marry Roberto who has cheated on her more than once in the past?? I really thought Clark pursued after Phil's car to tell Helena he loves her. Really unexpected plot twist as the story ends.

Helena looks too old to be Clarks love interest. And the ending is rather odd....jumping from one lady to another, Clarks emotions are too confusing, he suddenly realises that he loves Emily, strange. And how on earth does Helena imagine that things will be normal with a man like Roberto.?
