Knights of Valour: The Seven Spirits Review for the Atomiswave

Today we look at another beat 'em up on the Atomiswave, Knights of Valour: The Seven Spirits. This is a very fun brawler that very few people know about. It's part of a very long-running series that was available exclusively for the PGM arcade system. I should get around to covering that system one of these days ;)

I encouraged the "Let's review arcade games" idea, and now I'm starting to regret it. You're breaking my heart because I keep hearing you say "Unfortunately this game was never released on home consoles". Stop breaking my heart!

Okay, totally going off topic here, but I'm excited about it so hope it's OK for me to mention it. I've been practicing a song on my flute called "The Good Life" and it's easily the toughest song I've yet attempted. I've been struggling with this challenging and long song for a few weeks. But I'm starting to get it down now and playing it fairly well. I'm genuinely excited that I'm probably at about 95% accuracy on it now.

The backgrounds in these atomiswave games always seem to look much better than the sprites. The game looks a lot of fun for a beat em up though.

This was a game that never seemed to receive any attention when I went to the arcades Jarrod. I was the only gamer that was willing to put tokens into the machine to play it. About 3 weeks later, most arcade thought it was a flop and only kept it because of me. Some times I would tokens in just for it to stay a little longer on the floor!

Darn shame. Knights of Valour: The Seven Spirits was fun and should've receive more attention for other players to understand it more!
