IKEA PLANT SHELF SETUP | HOUSEPLANT TOUR 2020

Hi guys! Welcome back to my channel, this week I spent some time setting up my ikea plant shelf. I thought you would be interested to see how I set it up and also a little houseplant tour of the shelf.

I’ll definitely keep you updated on how the grow lights go but I’m thinking I’ll have to add in an extra light in the future.

Use only distilled water for your calethea and try to set it in a dish of water.Better is this... We put a clear plastic cover from an orchid we bought around ours and taped the cover together in the middle on the top. It covered the plant and the pot. That gave it moisture and some ventilation. It began making new leaves slowly. Now it's pretty. Good luck. Liked the shelf!

Oh no the panda! Nice setup the lights has me confused too. Great job with shelf. I think the differenbarchia is settling in our home. They can be fussy but looks ok they do lose bottom leaves and are stemy over time I've seen on houseplant journal insta. 💚👍

Thank you for sharing💚! Love the confidence you have in putting the shelf together - it made me think that I can do it too. With the lamps - I would suggest to leave those as they are and just to add one with higher lumens, maybe. But you got those Kelvins super right! I did a little research last week and kind of super proud of myself that at least I know the basics now..😅. Good luck with your beautiful plants - you cleary love them so much..😊

Yes and the clear plastic is not as ugly and cloudy like a plastic bag. 😊

I love peperomias and they're so low-maintenence, but the roots are so delicate. :( So easy to overwater and rot.

Thanks, you know if you kept the boxes you can take the lights back to bunnings even without a receipt. They just give you an exchange voucher.
