Baton Rouge louisiana 2016 Flood Escape!

Rescued from rising river water and moved to safety.

i live in lousianna and its very heartbreaking. our house was flooded. my parents are my heros. when they woke up the backyard was fine but our front yard was all water. i couldnt see any green grass or any grass. when we left there was water ankle deep in our house. luckly we only got 2 feet. but others got it worse. when my dad put my sister, my dog, our bags, and i on our raft, the water was too his neck, and he is 6/2. he was swimming doing everything he could to keep us safe. so was my mom. i have the best parents. they would do everything for us. this guy was canouing down our front yard and the rest of our road to get my other sister because she has a bad knee because of a tore acl, and to save everyone else down our road. guys please pray for louisianna and everywhere else. it would be a huge favor.

So many of my relatives homes were flooded. One older cousin just had to give it up and move to East Texas. Here BR home is the only one she had ever known.
