Local animal rescue addresses pet abandonment issues

Video from Coastal Pet Rescue shows a person allegedly abandoning an animal without another word.

I rescue abandoned animals in my neighborhood and can vouch for how awful people are. Pets suffer when abandoned and experience emotional pain. Leaving a defenseless animal to brave the elements and predators should result in severe criminal consequences with a lifetime ban on pet ownership. Prayers for abandoned animals everywhere and mad respect for those who rescue animals everywhere. I'll never stop.

Owners should be accountable and chipped and face fines or jail time this is all over and the worst part these animals live on street and become hungry and hurt people and this needs to have laws I rescued four animals and I live on a fixed income but they are cared for and loved

10:48 pm. It’s as bad here in SC! The problem is the laws are not tough enough and upheld, the cost of vetting is so high people dump them! Not enough rescues, shelters and people are not spaying and neutering so the over population is out of control! We also need more low cost spay and neuter programs! Help from the government would help!! Legal marijuana and that money would help the homeless, animals, fixing the roads etc…. Stop yesteryears way of thinking and do something smart! The money brought in would be in the millions, how many animals and people would that help??

Hmmmm, just paid hundreds on an abandoned cat and took to a rescue only to be turned down. Guess where he is now? Abandoned right back where he was found. No wonder they abandon them. No one wants them. Humans, our turns are here. Get ready for it...or

How about instead of asking owners to take responsibility we make vet care more affordable it's ridiculous the amount of money vets charge for just routine . X rays are thousands . Surgery's over night . 10 k easily
I have to go to Mexico to get a tumor removed because here It would be 5k in Mexico it's going to be 250 dollars.
Insurances u still have to file claim and hope to get reimbursed. Let's tackle the real issue .

I think it's only fair that the unfortunately amiles owner's get the unfortunately same thing as well
Maybe if people could feel the pain they give out a lot of people May be better and it could change some things also 😢

If I was to get a lot of money how ever it may be.
I would love to get lot of land and I would take in as many amiles I could I would have my own amiles shoulter for all kinds of amiles shoulter I wish one day I might u never know what God has plans for everyone
