Absolutely disgusting betrayal by the WCA board of the cubing community and the WCA's own committees. In addition to transparency, the special meeting can also invoke bylaw 3.8 and vote to remove the entire board if enough delegates show up to have a quorum.

its so easy to stop the timer iligaly when you just want to be fast but that cant bee seen in real time

Timer stops aren’t framecounted because it is very easy to accidentally do a slightly illegal stop that you don’t gain much advantage from. If it is a stop that cannot be seen in real time then it should not be penalized, and if it was then times off-camera would be treated differently to times on-camera which shouldn’t happen.

Cause when you stop the timer you naturally try to do it fast so your time is lower, which may end up with you accidentally breaking one of those rules
But for starting you dont have that pressure on, so pretty much the majority of cases where a rule could be broken is if youre deliberately trying to find loopholes

I don't think you want to frame count stops because on one frame you might have your hands almost flat on the timer, then a frame flat on the timer and then a frame after where the hands are not flat again as you pull your hands towards you. A delegate might rule that there were more frames where the hands were not flat than frames where thanks were flat, and therefore dnf a perfectly legit stop.

I think that stipulation is fair. Haven't decided what I think about frames still touching the puzzle though.
One example could be if the puzzle bounces and touches your finger while your hands are on the timer. In one or two frames, you could be "touching" the puzzle and get a dnf even though you couldn't have realistically prevented that.

Yes, we need trasparency and an explanation on the reasoning behing the overruling of the WRC decision! Nothing about this makes sense to me and it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.
