It still awes me of how menacing yet sad this track is by definition. The Hedgehog is facing an inner demon that he cannot escape. He can't even escape it with his own speed...something he's known for. I think it's something we all face everyday. There's always an inner soul or self that we must confront, whether it's there or not...

This is so cool, it feels like Sonic is ruining from Exe but at the end he accepts that he needs to face his fears, if he doesn’t, all of his friends will stay dead, at the end he realizes that he needs to *Confront Himself*

The song itself kind of tells a story and a battle on its own, when 2:13 hits all the sound effects going on in the background is like sonic on his last stand, using all he has to win.

I notice a very small detail at the end a lot of ppl missed where at the end where exe gets sonic, sonic says "come on!" indicating he's done running away from exe and will face him head on this time but because it was unnoticed it was taken as a defeat ending
