VTP is a Layer 2 messaging protocol that maintains VLAN configuration consistency by managing the addition, deletion, and renaming of VLANs on a network-wide basis. Hi, Sunny! I misunderstand one thing about conf. revision number(CRN) in this video:
U said every new configuration increments a CRN by one, so the higher number - newer(recenter) data.
But at 6:47 U said client will update its data, when it receives a lower CRN... isn't it vice versa? Or I didn't get the idea totally...

Why we can not use vtp for VLAN trunking

I just wondering, if vtp server configuration has more revision, but actually revision was to delete some vlan, and then its connected to a network and then that switch will broadcast its vlan config and apply that config since it has higher revision, then it'll 0-ed the whole vlan network configuration. Instead of counting the revision, why they don't calculate the number of vlan record to be broadcast over the network
