As a 70s kid living in Yuma Az. Many kids walked to and from school in the heat . Kids back then were tougher. Most home had no AC just fans . Kids today are week

Pay the bus drivers more! Wah, wah, the first two days of Texas school students it was 105 and 106.

Whoever decided that it was wise to start school during the hottest time during summer. It's CRAZY! How anyone can learn when its sweltering. Not only is it difficult for the students. I know its just as difficult for the teachers, if not more so for them. Dealing with testy students. Half the time the air conditioning systems are down. Go back to starting in September!!!

Parents if you don’t like it, homeschool since educating your children is primarily your responsibility. Only the last 25 decades or less was that responsibility forced on strangers to do that.

This deceitful mayor using young school children as props for a photo op is outrageous. With only 22% of CPS students proficient in reading, the future doesn't seem so "bright". He should resign.

I thought they were gonna say the buses had no AC!?!?!
Yeah the buildings AC need to work too! Prayers things will get done where needed!
A shortage of bus drivers may be due to NO AC’s on buses too! Dealing with bad kids & no AC…. I wouldn’t drive a bus either! Probably doesn’t pay enough as it is!?!?!?!🤔🤷🏽🤦🏽‍♂️
